Ulu Mosque (KaramanoÄŸlu Mosque, Center): It is written on the inscription of the mosque on an accumulated hill that it was constructed to Architecture Mehmet Firuz Bey by KaramanoÄŸlu Mehmet Bey between 1408 and 1409. Most important characteristic of the mosque which is a typical piece of KaramanoÄŸlu art is its minbar(pulpit beside the mihrab reached by a long, straight flight of steps), which is constructed from ebony, as one of the master piece of art of wood of Seljuk period.
